THE COMEDY OF ERRORS at parks across Ottawa, from A Company of Fools. Still time to catch this Seuss-esque take on Billy Shakes’ mistaken identity epic, from the Fools who know him so well. Until the 15th.
THE CREATION OF THE WORLD AND OTHER BUSINESS at the GCTC studio, from 9th Hour. Cain and Abel via the circus, in an intimate and spirited retelling of biblical myth from Arthur Miller. Until the 8th.
MARY’S ODYSSEY at Laurier House. Another month of historical mystery in the amazing Laurier House! The 6th, 13th and 20th.
THE COMEDY OF ERRORS and ROMEO AND JULIET at the St.Lawrencc Shakespeare Festival. Need more Shakespeare? A little roadtrip and it’s all yours! Until the 22nd.
THE THINGS WE DO FOR LOVE at Strathcona Park, from Odyssey Theatre. Celebrate 30 years of Commedia in the open air as Odyssey embarks on a triple-bill of Spanish romance. Until the 23rd.
I’M NOT JEWISH BUT MY MOTHER IS at the Gladstone Theatre. Steve Martin’s brand new romp carries on until the 8th.
BRIDGE TO THE PAST at various venues around Gatineau and Wakefield, from Theatre Wakefield. A Travelling show from Ian Tamblyn and director Mary Ellis, featuring up and coming superstar Megan Carty! From the 5th to 31st.
AWOKEN at Live! on Elgin, from Fireflood. Nick Amott returns with an updated version of his Fringe/Fresh Meat hit, inaugurating the Live! stage for Theatre in the process. Come on out! The 21st and 22nd.
MIND THE GAP and LAST ORDERS at the Avalon Studio, from the NW9 collective. Two great one-acts from Bev Wolfe and Doug Phillips in one evening, and featuring one of my fav’rit human people ever, Jodi Morden. Check it out! 21st to 30th.
BURNING: A BRIDGE at SAW Gallery, from Monstrous Nights Theatre. A combination of text, burlesque and more to examine the dreaded long-distance relationship in modern times. The 27th to 29th.
TABLE MANNERS at the Gladstone Theatre, from Plosive and Seven Thirty. Kicking off the sure-to-be epic Norman Conquests trilogy and featuring a stellar cast, this is some goddam event theatre right here Get in on it! Starts on the 28th.
RIDERGIRL at Arts Court Theatre. Short return engagement of Colleen Sutton’s one-woman look at CFL fandom! The 28th and 29th.
